Congratulations and good luck to Canon Kearney on his retirement. Having served St Dallan’s Primary School for many years, Canon Kearney will be greatly missed by our staff, our children, their parents/guardians and the Board of Governors.
Canon Kearney has a genuine warmth and gentleness that make all who meet him feel at ease. He has an extraordinary good-humoured energy and has made every church service come to life for our children. Being able to recall the names of many of the children, he takes great pride in revealing to them his knowledge of generations of their families in the parish.
Canon Kearney has supported the parents/guardians and teachers of St Dallan’s whole-heartedly and acknowledges with great pride and enthusiasm the contribution they make to school life. He has been a wonderful support to the staff of our school and a wise and valued member of our Board of Governors. We thank Canon Kearney for his hard work, dedication, guidance and support and we wish him a long and happy retirement.
