Primary 7 Well-Being Session

On Friday 15 September our Primary 7 pupils enjoyed a ‘Relax Kids’ session led by Joanne Callan
This session included:

Stretching and exercising

Breathing Exercises

Positive self-talk and affirmation

Relaxation techniques
Relaxation for children is vital as it can help alleviate sleeping problems, lack of concentration, exam stress, anger, anxiety, hyper activity, to name a few.
The benefits for children are equally as long a list, they include:
- Concentration
- Focus
- Creativity
- Imagination
- Self-worth, Self-esteem, Self-awareness
- Positivity
- Confidence
- Sense of health and Well-Being
We look forward to meeting up with parents at the parental wellbeing session next week and hope that these sessions will go some way at helping us all equip ourselves to lead long, healthy and happy lives.
