Our first big School Council project this year was to help the Bite and Banter group. We heard about this group of volunteers and we decided to try to do a little bit to help them. Every year, they arrange for people who might be spending Christmas on their own to gather for a Christmas dinner. So, to help them make up food hampers to give out on Christmas Day, we launched a Food Appeal in school and we collected up the donations every day. We want to say a really big thank you to all pupils and parents for your overwhelming generosity! Hopefully together we have helped to make the Christmas season a better time for some of those who might not be as fortunate as us this year.
