This week, we have been learning all about 3D shapes and how different they look to 2D shapes. One child said, “You could put 2d shapes into a sandwich, but 3D shapes wouldn’t fit!”... I think this is a great way of remembering and comparing these shapes! We now know that 2d shapes are flat, and 3D shapes are ‘fat, solid’ shapes. We had great fun sorting our shapes into two groups!
